⁠⁠⁠⁠Seasonal hot weather coupled with Thunderstorms to continue over TN

For the past few days we have witnessed thunderstorms lashing over interior Tamilnadu, which is likely to continue and move closer to Chennai. Hot weather is very likely to continue over interior and Coastal Tamil Nadu. However early onset of Sea Breeze will bring relief from soaring high temperatures of 43, 44 degree Celsius to coastal TN.
Models forecast suggests that the temperature over Chennai may decrease gradually from 23 or 25th of May with some rain in sight for Chennai during end of the may. Most of the models suggests that a formation of system likely over South Bay of Bengal which is being monitored closely.
The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) continues to pass through Lat. 5.0°N/Long. 80.0° E, Lat. 8.0° N/Long. 87.0° E, Lat. 13.0°N/ Long. 92.0° E and Lat. 16.0° N/ Long. 95.0° E. Conditions are likely to become favourable for further advance of South West monsoon into some more parts of Southwest, Southeast and eastcentral Bay of Bengal after 2-3 days.
City Outlook:

Chennai – An bright and hot day likely.  Showers might occur over suburban areas. Temperatures expected to settle around 39- 41C

Vellore – Hot weather likely with thunderstorms ahead during evening time. Temperatures expected to settle around 41-43 c
Madurai – Warm weather likely with thunderstorms might form during evening time. Temperatures expected to settle around 39-40c
Trichy – Partly cloudy skies with hot weather likely.  Showers might occur. Temperatures expected to settle around 39-40c
Coimbatore – Partly cloudy skies with expected with showers may occur. Temperatures expected to settle around 34-36 c.
