A mixed bag of warm afternoon and a few Thunderstorms await TN

Subdued monsoon activity dominates most of the sub continent in stark contrast to the scenario in North eastern states, especially Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, where extremely heavy falls are predicted in isolated places. Monsoon is all set to keep its foot in the farming heartlands of Punjab & Haryana in the next 3 days.

Down South, weak monsoon conditions prevail over Kerala and Karnataka thereby deepening the deficits. Most of TN will see partly cloudy skies and very warm afternoons. Typical late afternoon thundershowers may break out in one or two places in the interiors eventually expanding to coastal areas. Slight increase in rainfall activity is expected by the middle of this week.
