Rain generating low pressure feature is prevalent in North East Madhya Pradesh. This is keeping the monsoon active over Core Monsoon zones of Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and parts of East Rajasthan. Heavy falls are expected over the aforementioned areas in the next 24hours. Another rain driving cyclonic circulation which prevails over South Gujarat has already dumped serious rains over Saurashtra and surroundings resulting in localised flooding and heavy rains are expected to continue. Brief reduction in rains over west coast is possible.
In Tamilnadu, seasonal windy climes will continue to prevail with hot conditions in noon time. Ghats of the state will see showery weather and adjoining places will manage showers at times. Rest of the state will remain dry with odd shower in one or two places.

Vellore – Very warm and breezy with a day high of 36C. Night will remain warm at 26C.
Trichy – Warm and breezy with mercury settling at 35C. Modest night ensues at 26C.
Madurai – Very warm with highs of 37C and lows of 26C. Chance of a shower in the vicinity.
Coimbatore – Windy and cloudy weather to prevail with a chance of few showers. Max will settle at 30C and min is a balmy 21C.
