Interior regions of Tamil Nadu experienced a good spell of rain today, due to moisture incursion by the easterlies. As night falls, the rain activity is shifting towards the coastal areas.
Coastal regions, including the KTCC districts, are likely to see scattered, intermittent showers from tonight through the early morning hours. This pattern of weather will continue into next week.
Rainfall is expected to increase from weekend as the easterly winds strengthen across Tamil Nadu.
