Bay of Bengal under watch for a possible tropical system

A tropical disturbance is in early stage of development as numerical models continue to spin a low pressure area over South central Bay of Bengal in next 36 hours. Warm oceanic conditions, favourable atmospheric conditions will allow this system to intensify further and might make it as an organized system in the coming days. Intensity seems to be varying with different models from Deep Depression to tropical cyclone but decent agreement seen with the track of the system.
Most models pushing it North-northeastwards towards Myanmar and still its too early to mark the exact point of landfall. This system will be monitored closely.
Meanwhile Hot, summer conditions will prevail with evening thunder showers in one or two isolated places over Kerala and TN.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Hot an humid conditions to continue with maximum temperature hovering around 35-36C.
