Bright and Sunny day on the cards on WMO day

Kea Weather joins hands in celebrating WMO (World Meteorological day)
Dry, sunny weather to prevail over most parts of South India making afternoon hours bit uncomfortable. Day time temperature to rise above normal in most parts of peninsular India.
Karur, Erode, Tiruppur, Kovai, Salem, Namakkal and adjoining interior districts of TN, Rayalaseema region of AP, South interior Karnataka districts are the most probable regions that would see above normal temperature.
Evening thundershowers might occur in one or two places of Karnataka and Kerala ghat areas.

 

City Outlook:

Chennai – Few clouds at day break. Clear and sunny later on. A high of 34 degrees. Relative humidity of 65% towards evening.
Coimbatore – A sun soaked day in the offing. Day max should peak around 36/37 degrees. Nights to remain pleasant.
Madurai – A comfortable morning leaving way to a hot and sultry afternoon. Day highs will continue to hover around 37 degrees.
Trichy – Another warm and sunny day beckons the region. Mercury to peak around 37 degrees yet again.
Vellore – Hot and steamy day ahead with a high UV index. Day max should peak at 38 degrees. A warm night to round off the day.
