South west monsoon has been subdued across TN with only isolated thundershowers happening in the late evenings. Mesoscale atmospheric factors have indicated low relative humidity across most parts of the state leading to a deficit August thus far. A slight increase in thunderstorms over Northern TN is expected over the coming days. Another low pressure area is expected to form over Northern Bay of Bengal and move through central India in the coming days.
