Under the absence of any significant system over the bay, rainfall activity is expected to be very low over most parts of the state. The low-level trough to the south of Sri Lanka continues to persist. Numerical models do not show any strengthening of this disturbance for now. North East monsoon continues to be severely deficient over peninsular India and no major activity is expected at least for a week barring mild precipitation over southern most TN.

Trichy – Partly cloudy skies with maximum of 32 degrees and a minimum of around 22 degrees.
Coimbatore –Pleasant day with a high of about 30 degrees and a low of about 19 degrees.
Vellore – Mostly clear with a high of about 31 degrees and a cool night with a low of about 17 degrees.
