While everyone in TN is closely watching the more marked LPA which formed yesterday over Bay of Bengal ,Remnants of Gaja is still marching over Arabian sea as weakened system. Precipitation will be arriving across the coastal Tamil Nadu sometime during the day, then spread northward before it gets into the north interior ,north coastal including Chennai during next two days. Most, especially coastal and adjoining interior areas will see high rain precipitation start.
Chennai can expect cloudy day with light to moderate rain likely at night time. Rain is likely in Vellore with maximum temperature of 30 c. Madurai can witness light showers in the afternoon. Maximum temperature would be around 32 c. Mostly cloudy day expected in Madurai with few showers expected in day time. Partly cloudy skies in Coimbatore with maximum temperature of around 30 c. A Shower cannot be ruled out.
