Hot and humid weather to continue across Tamil Nadu

Weak winds, less cloudiness and Summer time solar insolation will heat the interiors of Tamil Nadu to higher day time temperatures. Whereas, coastal districts including capital city Chennai, though may experience humid conditions, temperatures would somewhat be under check relative to the interiors.
Isolated squall/hail is very likely in north coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 to 36 hours. Thunderstorms likely over north west and north east India. Heat wave conditions will persist in parts of north and adjoining central east India.
City Outlook:

Chennai should experience a hot, sultry day with maximum temperature around 36 C.

Coimbatore can expect a hot sultry day with a maximum of 37 C.
Madurai will have a hot day with a maximum of 38 C.
Vellore will be hot and dry with maximum 38/39 C.
Trichy can expect a hot day with maximum 38 C.
