Imperious Heat To Prevail Over Tamil Nadu

As the deep depression in the eastern Bay of Bengal moves north east towards Burma, the southern peninsula continues to boil under the vigorous sun with temperature hitting 40 C at several places. Isolated rainfall is possible in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Rainfall is also possible in some regions of West Bengal.

City Outlook:

Chennai – Hot and humid weather likely in the noon with maximum temperatures of 35-36 C.
Trichy – Scorching heat likely with the mercury hitting 40 C.
Madurai – Searing blue skies on the cards with maximums hitting 40-41 C.
Coimbatore – Hot weather ahead with the temperature capping at 37-38 C.
Vellore – Incredible heat on the cards with maximum temperatures of 41 C.
