The depression over Arabian Sea has weakened into a well marked low pressure area. Thunderstorms accompanied with gusty winds are likely to occur over parts of interior Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka.
Moreover, precipitation coverage will increase during the next couple of days as scattered showers are likely to occur over North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts. Moving up north, thunderstorms are likely to occur over north eastern states.

Trichy – Partly cloudy sky is expected and day max will hover around 34 C. Light rains are possible over the region.
Vellore – Partly cloudy sky with max around 36 C. Possibility of thundershowers during later part of the day.
