With the easterly winds getting back in action, isolated showers are expected in Tamil Nadu. Light to moderate showers are expected in the interior and coastal districts of Tamil Nadu. The depression that persisted over West Central Bay has now weakened into a well marked low pressure area and lies over the Odisha – West Bengal coast. An upper air cyclonic circulation persists over South Tamil Nadu.
Foggy mornings are expected in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and other North Eastern states of India with dry weather prevailing over the country.

Chennai – A warm day of temperature rising upto 32/33C and minimum temperature of 25C with light showers later in the day likely.
Vellore – A day high of 33/34C and low of around 26C with fair chances of precipitation later in the day.
Coimbatore – A day with maximum temperature around 32/33C and minimum of 24C likely. Chances of light rains cannot be ruled out.
Madurai – A day high of 35C and low of 24/25C with fair to less chances of any showers.
Trichy – A day with maximum temperature around 35C and minimum of 24/25C with less chances of rain.
