Isolated Thundershowers to continue over TN

A low pressure area has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Coastal Odisha and west central Bay of Bengal. Heavy to very heavy rains at isolated places very likely over Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Konkan and goa. Coastal Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala too will witness useful heavy rains.

The intensity and spread of Thundershowers in Tamil Nadu will reduce. However isolated thundershowers especially for north coastal TN cannot be ruled out. Spike in heat is expected in interior parts of the state owing to drier weather conditions.
