Isolated Thunderstorm activity to continue for Interior TN

The line of wind discontinuity in the lower level of the atmosphere continues to be the dominant mechanism triggering convectional rains across parts of interior districts among TN, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema.
Conditions are likely to remain as it is with pattern favouring thunderstorms and squall formation in southern districts like Theni, Dindugal, Madurai, Virudhunagar. Delta districts might also see thunderstorm activity in one or two places.

City Outlook:

Chennai: Few clouds at day break. A warm afternoon with a high of 33 degrees.
Madurai: Another hot and steamy day in the offing. Day high should hover around 36 degrees with a chance of a shower late in the evening.
Trichy: Warm and humid conditions with a high of around 37 degrees.
Coimbatore: A comfortable morning with few stray clouds lurking around. Day to remain quite warm with a high of 35 degrees.
Vellore: Yet another hot and humid day with mercury scaling up to 35 degrees. A odd shower perhaps towards evening.
