Isolated thunderstorm (TS) activity over Tamil Nadu may persist with slightly above normal maximum temperatures being the norm over most parts of the state. Isolated heavy rainfall is expected over coastal Karnataka. Kerala may continue to see subdued rainfall activity during the next two days, however sharp increase in rainfall activity expected thereafter.

Chennai – Cloudy morning clearing as the day progresses with maximum touching 38 degrees and a minimum of around 28 degrees.
Madurai – Partly cloudy sky with maximum hitting 38 degree and minimum of 26 degrees.
Trichy – Above normal maximum with day time high reaching 39 degrees and relatively warm nights with minimum of 28 degrees.
Coimbatore – A pleasant day with maximum of 32 degrees and a minimum of around 23 to 24 degrees with light rains.
Vellore – Cloudy sky with maximum of 37 degrees and a minimum around 27 degrees.
