With the arrival of North East monsoon, scattered light to moderate showers will continue across many parts of TN with possibility of isolated heavy rainfall over southern parts of the state. Additionally, the daytime temperatures are expected to drop leading to pleasant conditions especially in the interiors which have been sizzling for a while. Weather models indicate a low-pressure area over the bay which is expected to intensify and move towards the East coast later during the week although the forecasted path and intensity is still unclear.
