Scattered light rain will continue across parts of TN for the next few days as a surge of moisture is expected to bring cloudiness and pleasant weather across the state. South west monsoon is expected to remain active along the West coast with the associated offshore trough extending along the coast from Maharashtra to Kerala. Numerical models indicate light to moderate showers across AP, Telangana and Odisha thereby continuing to bring cooling showers across the region.

Coimbatore – Some clouds and pleasant with a high of about 32 degrees and low of about 22 degrees.
Madurai – Warm and clear day with a high of about 35 degrees. Chance of a stray thunderstorm in the evening hours.
Trichy – Breezy and hot with a high of about 37 degrees and a low of about 26 degrees.
Vellore – Partly cloudy and pleasant with a high of about 32 degrees. Chance of thunderstorms bringing light to moderate rainfall as the day progresses.
