Warm and dry weather is expected to continue across most parts of the state with sizzling heat increase as one moves inland. Numerical models indicate a further increase in daytime highs towards mid-week with above normal temperatures, more so in South TN.
Isolated thundershowers are forecasted to continue over southern districts as land-based heating brings instability towards the afternoon.

Trichy – Mostly cloudy and very warm with a high of about 37 degrees.
Coimbatore – Mostly clear with a high of about 36 degrees and a low of about 24 degrees.
