Near normal temperatures for coastal TN with isolated thunderstorms for interiors

The wind discontinuity from Comorin area to South Interior Karnataka across Interior Tamil Nadu persists and extends upto 0.9 Km above mean sea level.
Coastal parts of Tamil Nadu and adjoining interiors may expect near normal to slightly below normal temperatures over the next 2 to 3 days. The interior Tamil Nadu may also expect isolated thunderstorm activity during the next 2 days.

City Outlook:

Chennai – A warm day with maximum of around 35 degrees with cloudy mornings, minimum temperatures may stay close to 28 degrees.
Madurai – Yet another hot day with maximum of around 39 to 40 degrees and a minimum of around 27 degrees with chances of thundery development in the late evening.
Trichy – A partly cloudy sky with maximum of around 38 to 39 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees with chances of Rain/thunderstorms.
Coimbatore – A partly cloudy to cloudy sky with maximum of around 36 degrees and a minimum of around 23 degrees with light rains being a possibility.
Vellore – No large change with maximum hovering around 38 degrees and a minimum of around 27 degrees with thundery development later in the day.
