Nearly a week of wet weather over South Peninsula draws a close from tomorrow as conditions become stable in the atmosphere. Isolated thunderstorm activity is forecast today for Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka. Ghats in particular will see heavy precipitation. Coimbatore, Bangalore are the major cities which falls in line of rains.
As wet weather fades away, seasonal sunny weather will take over starting next week and slowly edge towards Summerish settings in South Peninsula. A Western Disturbance approaches North West India by 19th which could influence the weather there in the form of rains.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Warm and partly sunny with highs of 32C. Comfortable night ensues with lows of 23/24C. Generally dry with no chance of rains.
Vellore – Warm and sunny as temperature settle at 34C. Pleasant night to follow with no chance of rains.
Trichy – Very warm and sunny with highs of 35C. Night is expected to be warm as well at 25C.
Madurai – Very warm and sunny with highs of 36C. Rains in the vicinity with lows of 24C.
Coimbatore – Yet another rainy day marked by day time high of 34C and night time lows of 24C.
