Feeble rain generating circulation is prevalent in south west Bay of Bengal off Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka coasts. Coastal areas of Tamil Nadu will witness scattered rains along with South Interior Tamil Nadu. Rains are expected to ease in a day or two as the circulation diminishes before it’s back by the weekend by when North East Monsoon onset will materialize. Having said that, South West Monsoon has bid adieu to the country yesterday after spanning length and breadth for four and half months.
Parts of Kerala will witness isolated rains. Fall season has begun in North West parts of the country where night temperatures are expected to take a dip.

Chennai – Cloudy and pleasant with an odd rain shower in the vicinity. Max and min will settle at 32 and 24C respectively
Vellore – Warm and clear with highs of 32C and no chance of rains. Night tend to be nippy with min of 20C
Trichy -Warm and partly cloudy with chance of showers. Highs of 31C and lows of 25C is forecast.
Madurai – Wet weather forecast for the city with cloudy conditions prevailing for most of the day with highs of 31C and lows of 23C
Coimbatore – Warm and sunny with highs of 32C and lows of 24C. Chance of a shower in the vicinity.
