Scattered thunderstorm activity to continue over TN

Indian Summer monsoon has been quite active over Odisha and adjoining regions last few days. This trend is set to continue over the next few days as well. Thanks to the well marked low ( WML) over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal and North coastal Odisha fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to extremely heavy falls is very likely over Odisha during the next 24 hours. Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh expected to receive widespread to fairly widespread rainfall activity during the next 48 hours. Interior Maharashtra and Karnataka will be under the monsoon umbrella cos of the strengthening of the monsoon current resulting out of the aforementioned system.
Moving down south, TN State is expected to see isolated thunderstorm activity particularly in the interiors, delta regions and pockets of North TN which includes North coastal regions as well.
