Revival of monsoon is in a slow pace over the ghat areas of TN and Kerala while the coastal areas from Kerala to Karnataka is experiencing medium to heavy rainfall.
Coming week will be very crucial for cauvery catchment areas. Heavy to very heavy rainfall can be expected over cauvery catchment areas in the coming days and also over coastal areas of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Northern parts of Kerala.
Convective rainfall is possible over Northern parts of Tamilnadu including Chennai and its suburbs. Rainfall in North TN will not be widespread and will be scattered.
Temperature to remain well under 40°C for all parts of TN.
