Seasonal weather and Thunderstorms to hog the limelight over TN

Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls likely over East and North East India and fairly widespread over Uttarkhand and Uttar Pradesh. Isolated scattered rainfall likely over the rest of the country except West Rajasthan and Saurashtra and Kutch where dry weather is likely.

The monsoon trough is slight to the north of its normal position and remain active with three embedded cyclonic circulations. Weakening of cross equatorial flow has caused a reduction in rainfall activity over the peninsular India and parts of West India and is likely to remain subdued during next 4-5 days.

Isolated thunderstorm activity over parts of North and Central TN set to continue.
