Summer heat will continue to bake most parts of interior Tamil Nadu as is normal for this time of the year. With sun’s rays falling near vertical on the state, no respite is expected from the harsh weather. Precautions are to be taken not to venture out in the afternoons when the heat will be at its peak and one must take plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. Isolated showers will continue in parts of Kerala adjoining ghats. Isolated stretches of Bengal, Odisha and North East India will witness seasonal Thundershowers accompanied with winds and hails.
