Suppressive weather will continue in South Interior Tamil Nadu with temperature remaining above normal by 4 C while other places in Tamil Nadu will remain dry with temperature remaining above normal by 1-2 C. Early sea breeze may bring some respite to the coastal areas.
City Outlook:
Chennai – Will mostly remain dry with day temperature hanging around 34-35 C. Night will continue to remain warm at 26-27 C.
Coimbatore – High of 33-34 C with pleasant nights at 21-22 C with no chance of rains.
Madurai – The temple city will continue to remain hot and dry at around 38 C. Nights will be compartively cooler at 24 C.
Tiruchi – Another hot day in the offing with maxima crossing 38 C while the minima will also be on the higher side at 26 C.
Vellore – The maximum will peak to 35-36 C and with minimum of 24-25 C, there is chance for light rains in the Fort city.
