South TN likely to receive beneficial rainfall

Easterly winds have shown a considerable increase in the last few days bringing beneficial rainfall over many parts of the state. Under the influence of a low-level trough, parts of South TN will likely see some beneficial rainfall. Numerical models indicate a low-pressure area in south bay to move towards the coast of Sri Lanka in the next few days which could increase chances of rainfall towards the weekend for southern TN. Rest of the state will see dry weather barring isolated rainfall activity in few places.
