The South-West monsoon is in no mood to relent as numerical models seem to suggest, forecast the possibility of a fresh low-pressure area forming over the North Bay of Bengal on September 1.
Meanwhile, the well marked low pressure area lying over North coastal AP & adjoining North West Bay of Bengal will further enhance the rainfall possibilities over East MP, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Odisha during the next 24 hours. Pockets of Telengana and coastal AP likely to experience fairly widespread rainfall activity under the influence of the said system. Kerala could see fairly widespread precipitation over the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, numerical model also suggests that the Bay would remain active into the first week of September.
Thunderstorm activity is likely to enhance across the state of TN with late evening bursts predominantly in the interiors, pockets of the Delta region, North areas of the state bordering AP and over isolated places over coastal TN.
