North Eastern states of India continues to receive widespread rainfall under the influence of a cyclonic circulation persisting in the region. Down south, Interior Karnataka and neighbourhood areas are to witness widespread rains. The axis of monsoon trough runs along Jammu towards East Assam at mean sea level.
Interior Tamil Nadu is expected to receive fairly widespread thundershowers along with south coastal areas of TN expected to receive moderate rains. A cyclonic circulation is likely to develop over Southeast Bay of Bengal in the next 24 hours.

Coimbatore – A warm sunny day with temp touching 33/34C followed by good rains in the evening.
Trichy – A hot day with temp touching 36/37c followed by decent thunderstorms later in the day.
Madurai – A sunny day with 35/36C followed by strong thunderstorms in the evening.
