North East Monsoon (NEM) rainfall activity over South east India continues to remain subdued. The trough of low at Mean sea level over Southeast Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood persists. However, isolated rainfall activity might occur in one or two places of South coastal TN and Nagapattinam region for next 2 days. Medium range forecasts expect rainfall activity resuming after 5 days, which is under close watch.
Dense to Moderate fog at isolated places likely over most of North Eastern states. No significant changes foreseen in rest of the places.

Chennai – A dry sunny day is expected with max temperature around 31C and relatively cool nights at 23C
Coimbatore – A Warm day followed by a cold night. Max of 32 degrees and a minimum of 19 degrees is foreseen.
Madurai – Sunny weather with some low level clouds during the day. Max of about 33 degrees and a low of 22 degrees.
Trichy – Sunny weather with max of about 32 degrees and a low of 21 degrees.
Vellore – Sunny day with very cold night. Max of about 30 degrees and a low of around 18 degrees.
