As the coastal areas of South AP and Tamil Nadu, received isolated spells yesterday, the bay region is preparing for a potential revival in the next couple of weeks. Coastal and interior regions of TN can witness on and off showers for the next few days from the easterly waves.
Further, The possibility of a low pressure system around the last few days of November in the SE bay looks bright as the remnants of systems from South china sea get pushed west ward. The emergence of MJO over IO with a potential loop/good amplitude as suggested by popular models might make it a lot more interesting in the days to come. Overall a ray of hope for revival of the monsoon after a long break.
