On the leeward side of western ghats thunderstorm activity is likely to reduce  with light rains possible over North Interior TN surrounding Salem.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nWith strengthening westerlies the onset of sea breeze over the land will get delayed thereby increasing the heat over large parts of TN including Chennai and its suburbs. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Chennai and its suburbs will sizzle throughout the day with temperature touching over 40\u00b0C.   Central and North TN will also experience a temperature range of over 40\u00b0C.
