With the Chennai division pilling up deficits upto 210mm (-41%). The rains so far has helped us cross 300mm of rain for the season. But to that magical figure of 850mm as far as Chennai is concerned looks like a mountain task. There is some hope with a system spinning up in Bay of Bengal on the influence of the favorable phase of MJO in the first week of December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Until first week of December,  Sporadic Showers cannot be ruled out. These Showers can be Heavy at times between 21-23rd. Seasonal High Pressure Area is likely to cover North Tamil Nadu from 25th of this month.
