It is likely to make landfall over Srilanka today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to moisture inflow, Coastal areas of Tamilnadu can expect Moderate to rather heavy rains during next 48hrs. Particularly stretch between Markkanam and South TN has best chances for reasonable amount of rains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>KTCC ( Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Chengalpattu, Chennai districts) will see scattered Light rain, moderate at some areas for next 48hrs period<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is very very rare to see a Depression in South-west Bay at this time of year.
