Under its influence and advancement of north east monsoon, rather heavy to heavy rains are\u00a0 expected \u00a0over coastal areas of Tamilnadu from Pondicherry to Kanyakumari. Medium to rather heavy rains are expected over Chennai city and neighborhood and isolated places of Interior Tamilnadu.
