The trough of Low has persisted\u00a0 in the Bay of Bengal\u00a0 and is set to become more prominent and move in a western direction towards the rain starved Tamil Nadu coast. Parts of Southern coastal TN is expected to receive medium rains from Friday night .Next week will see a significant wet spell over most parts of Tamil Nadu. Intensive showers along the coast is expected as the system gains\u00a0 strength and comes closer to coastal area of Tamil Nadu. Interior areas will continue to see a drop in mercury for a few days while coastal area may have strong easterly winds.<\/p>\n

City Outlook:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chennai –\u00a0City will witness partly cloudy weather and temperature will be hovering around 30 C.<\/span><\/p>\n

Madurai –\u00a0Partly cloudy with maximum temperature\u00a0 of 33 C. Shower cannot be ruled out in the late evening or night.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Coimbatore –\u00a0Partly sunny and mercury may touch 32\u00a0C with minimum of\u00a018 C.<\/span><\/p>\n

Trichy –\u00a0Partly cloudy in day\u00a0with showery weather in the late evening\/night. Maximum temperature may rise upto 32 C.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vellore –\u00a0Mostly sunny, maximum and minimum temperature may settle around 30 C and 18 C.<\/span><\/p>\n
