Numerical models indicate that this westerly cross equatorial flow will continue to build up both in height and in latitude over the course of this week. Consequently, northern and coastal parts of the state include the state capital of Chennai will see its first showers this week.<\/div>\n<div>Early sea breeze front will aid in formation of these evening showers along with large instability due to surface heating.
