While the monsoon unleashed its signature style fury over the west coast in the past week, its soujourn into north west india has attained its peak- with the low pressure area over North West peninsula drawing heavy precipitation in the region. However a slowdown is seen in the south and South western parts. The southwest monsoon has further advanced into remaining parts of Bihar, most parts of MadhyaPradesh & Uttar Pradesh and some more parts of Rajasthan, many parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.<\/p>\n

This has set the stage for a fresh bout of Thundershowers to emerge in TN over the course of next few days.<\/p>\n

City Outlook:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Chennai<\/strong> \u2013 A rather hot day with max settling close to 38C and a night with considerable cloudiness.<\/p>\n

Vellore<\/strong> \u2013 Windy and warm with a high of 37\/38 C and an outside chance of some showers during evening\/Night.<\/p>\n

Trichy<\/strong> \u2013 Partly cloudy yet windy day with temperature hovering around 38 C.<\/p>\n

Madurai<\/strong> \u2013 Mostly cloud day with mercury hovering around 36 followed by a night with a good cloud cover.<\/p>\n

Coimbatore<\/strong> \u2013 Mix of clouds and sun, max temperature at 32\/33 C followed by a pleasant night. Possiblity of a stray thunderstorm during the day cant be ruled out.<\/p>\n
