This East &#8211; west Shear zone would set up instability in the atmosphere in the above mentioned areas and might Trigger violent Thunderstorms.<br \/>\nAs such, this would translate into heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu including Chennai and Puducherry today.<br \/>\nThe\u00a0axis\u00a0of\u00a0South West monsoon trough at\u00a0mean sea level passes through Ganganagar,\u00a0Kaithal, Varanasi,\u00a0Jamshedpur,\u00a0Digha\u00a0and hence\u00a0southeastwards\u00a0to\u00a0north\u00a0Andaman\u00a0sea.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"http:\/\/www.ssd.noaa.gov\/PS\/TROP\/gglcontent\/nind.gif\" width=\"533\" height=\"355\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>City Outlook:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Chennai \u2013 Generally cloudy sky with an expected maximum of around 35 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees. Thunderstorms would visit the city by evening\/Night.<\/p>\n<p>Coimbatore \u2013\u00a0Generally cloudy sky with a high of 32 degrees and a low of 23 degrees. Few Thunderstorms are expected in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Madurai \u2013 Generally cloudy sky is expected with a Maximum around 37 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees. Thunderstorms are expected in the Vicinity.<\/p>\n<p>Tiruchi \u2013 A cloudy sky is expected with a High of 36 degrees and a low of 26 degrees.
