The low pressure area over South east Bay of Bengal and associated\u00a0 cyclonic circulation persists. Another cyclonic circulation lies over Gulf of Mannar and neighbourhood. Light to medium Rain or thundershower to return over TN coastal areas today. Areas between Mahabalipuram and Rameshwaram can expect some showers today. Rain is likely to increase gradually over Tamil Nadu coastal area including Chennai from the weekend. Rest of Tamil Nadu districts to remain dry today. Highs will be slightly warmer than what we have been seeing, still below average though with temperatures topping out in the middle and upper 30’s and cloudy to mostly cloudy skies overhead.<\/p>\n

Chennai <\/strong>– The sky condition is likely to be cloudy. Drizzle expected in the evening\/late evening with a maximum temperature of 31\u00b0 C.<\/p>\n

Madurai <\/strong>– Sky will be partly cloudy. Maximum temperature may settle around\u00a0\u00a032\u00b0\u00a0C.<\/p>\n

Trichy <\/strong>– Partly cloudy and Maximum temperature is likely to settle around 32\u00b0 C.<\/p>\n

Coimbatore <\/strong>– Mainly cloudy and\u00a0 mercury will read out a max of 32\u00b0\u00a0C.<\/p>\n
