Currently A Low Pressure Area is lying spread-eagled across Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka. Shortly it would start traversing across the rugged terrain of Sri Lanka and park in the Comorin Sea about 100 km south of Kanyakumari by today evening. It is expected to move further west into Arabian Sea towards Lakshadeep Islands tomorrow.
\nUnder this LPA’s influence, Heavy to very heavy rains are forecast for parts of Tuticorin, Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari districts esp near the Ghats and Southern most Kerala districts today.
\nMedium to heavy rains are forecast for parts of Ramnad, Virudhunagar, Madurai districts and Coastal districts from Chennai to Pudukottai.
\nA feeble western disturbance would cause isolated snowfall in the higher reaches of Himalayas and moderate to dense fog are likely at isolated places in Northeastern states<\/p>\n

Madurai<\/strong> \u2013 A cloudy day on cards with Moderate rain possibility. Expected Temperature would a max of 32 degrees and a minimum of 24 degrees.<\/p>\n

Tiruchi<\/strong> \u2013 Generally cloudy sky with moderate rain possibility. Temperatures would be with a High of 32 degrees and a low of 22 degrees.<\/p>\n
