After playing second fiddle to Arabian sea for the past 5 days, Bay of Bengal snatches back it’s prime position Thanks to entry of a Well marked LPA, which has crossed the Malay peninsula yesterday and is seen spinning near Sumatra Island today.
\nThis WMLPA is expected to intensify further in to a Depression and then into Deep Depression and move in West-northwest direction in the next 48 hours towards the Southern Peninsula.
\nIn Arabian Sea basin, “Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Ockhi” is seen spinning in East Central Arabian Sea about 850 km southwest of Mumbai as of today and is gradually recurving in a North-eastwards direction towards Gujarat. As Ockhi is soon entering a highly unfavourable Wind pattern which will tear through the Cyclonic structure, Ockhi would be gradually weakened in the next 24-48 hours and gradually drift towards the coast.
\nAs no major synoptic activity is happening in the very near vicinity, Tamil Nadu would remain dry overall today except for a few odd Thunderstorms here and there esp in South Tamil Nadu.<\/p>\n

Chennai<\/strong> \u2013 Generally cloudy sky with a maximum temperature of around 30 degrees and a minimum of 25 degrees.<\/p>\n

Coimbatore<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0A partly cloudy day with a high of 28 degrees and a low of 21 degrees temperatures.<\/p>\n

Madurai<\/strong> \u2013 A partly cloudy day on cards with a max temp of 30 degrees and a minimum of 23 degrees.<\/p>\n

Tiruchi<\/strong> \u2013 A partly cloudy sky with a pleasant weather. Temperatures would be with a High of 28 degrees and a low of 22 degrees.<\/p>\n

Vellore<\/strong> \u2013 Mostly cloudy sky is expected with a Max temp of 28 degrees and a Min of 22 degrees.<\/p>\n
