For the last two days we have witnessed hailstorms lashing over North West Interior districts of TN and adjoining border areas of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, which is likely to continue for next few days. These hailstorms are by triggered by intense heating, North-South trough and convergence zone falls as per topography. Meanwhile hot weather likely to continue over interior and Coastal Tamil Nadu.<\/p>\n

Up North and Central India, intense heat is sweeping Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra with temperature already soaring above 40\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

City Outlook:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chennai<\/strong> \u2013 A very warm day with a maximum of around 36\u00b0C and a minimum of around 27-28\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Madurai<\/strong> \u2013 Hot day with maximum of 37\u00b0C and minimum of 25\u00b0C. Isolated Thunderstorm possible.<\/p>\n

Trichy<\/strong> \u2013 Hot with patchy clouds as mercury will soar to 38\u00b0C. Night will be very warm at 27C.<\/p>\n

Coimbatore<\/strong> \u2013 Max Temperature may settle around 37\u00b0C and minimum of 24\u00b0C degrees. More chance for Thunderstorms by evening\/night.<\/p>\n

Vellore<\/strong> \u2013 The maximum temperature likely to hit 38\u00b0C with a minimum with 24\u00b0C. Isolated Thunderstorm possible.<\/p>\n
