Karur, Trichy, Salem, Madurai zones will touch 39\/40C and outdoor activities should be avoided in the late afternoons. Coastal areas will see marginal rise in the day time heat. Night time temperatures throughout the state will continue to be warm.<\/p>\n<p>Isolated rains will continue to lash Kerala today. Parts of North East India will witness seasonal Thundershowers.
