Heatwave conditions persisted over Vidharba, Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh. As the line of wind discontinuity persisted over Interior Peninsula, Violent Thunderstorms with strong gusts of winds, intense burst of rains along with hails have been reported from many places across Interior Karnataka, Interior Tamil Nadu and Kerala. This pattern of localised storms are set to continue for the next two days.<\/p>\n

The prevailing cyclonic circulation over southeast Arabian Sea & adjoining Lakshadweep extending upto 2.1 km above
\nmean sea level will descend down to lower levels over south Arabian sea in the next 48-72 hours. Major global weather models are in consensus that this atmospheric disturbance will move away from India coast towards Yemen.<\/p>\n

Chennai <\/strong>– An uncomfortable warm day leading to a sultry night. Max of around 37 degrees and a low of 28 degrees.<\/p>\n

Coimbatore <\/strong>– A Partly cloudy and Humid day. Possibility of a Thunderstorm in the evening\/night. High of around 35 degrees and a low of 24 degrees.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Madurai <\/strong>– A Very Hot day leading to thundershowers in some parts of the city. High of 38 degrees and a low of 27 degrees.<\/p>\n
