While the convective thunderstorms over south india including Interior TN and ghat regions have been bringing copius rain. In the Arabian sea the severe cyclonic storm “Mekunu” continues to intensify and is expected to cross Oman coast. No adverse weather is expected along Indian coast due to this.
\nThe monsoon progression is expected to further pickup in the Arabian sea and bay of bengal post the landfall, the conditions look good for advancement of the southwest monsoon winds into Andaman in 2 days.<\/p>\n

Isolated thunderstorm activity over parts of TN is expected under the influence of as a feeble circulation in bay of bengal off TN coast continues to persist and with ample day time convective heating.<\/p>\n
