Tamil Nadu’s tryst with evening, late evening thunderstorms is set to continue over the next few days under favourable and conducive atmosphere. The said activity is very likely over North coastal,\u00a0 North interiors and pockets of western TN over the next few days. Meanwhile, a low pressure is likely to develop over central & adjoining North Bay of Bengal around 18th September. In view of the above system taking shape, adverse sea conditions are very likely over central Bay of Bengal and over Andaman & Nicobar Islands during the next 3-4 days. Fisherman are advised not to venture over and above the mentioned areas.<\/p>\n

Chennai<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 A partly cloudy day with temperature maximizing around 35-36 C. Thundershowers possible in the evening.<\/p>\n

Madurai<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Fairly hot day ahead with maximum temperatures of around 36 C. Thunderstorm formation likely in the afternoon around the city.<\/p>\n

Trichy<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Searing heat on the cards as the mercury could rise up to 37 C. Showers likely in the evening.<\/p>\n

Coimbatore<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Hot day followed by comfortable evening with maximum temperature of 33 C. Isolated Thunderstorms possible.<\/p>\n

Vellore<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Warm day ahead with the temperature capping at about 35 C. Rains likely in the district in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
