The South West Monsoon (SWM) has further withdrawn from remaining parts of Rajasthan, entire Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, West & East Madhya Pradesh and some more parts of Gujarat state & North Arabian Sea. Conditions are favorable for further withdrawal of SWM from remaining parts over the next 2 – 3 days.<\/p>\n

A low pressure area is likely to develop over south east Arabian sea around 6th October. It is likely to intensify into a depression and move North-West-Wards during subsequent 48 hours. Fishermen are advised not to venture into South east & Central Arabian Sea from 7th October 2018 onwards, and those in deep sea areas are advised to return to coast before the said date.<\/p>\n

Heavy rain very likely at isolated places over Tamil Nadu & Pudhucherry and Kerala. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharastra and Coastal and Interior Karnataka, and most parts of south east India.<\/p>\n

City Outlook:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Chennai<\/strong> – Warm and very humid with chance of a shower in early morning. Temperatures will settle at 34\/26C.<\/p>\n

Vellore<\/strong> – Very warm and sunny with very less chance of rains. Day time highs will settle for 35C. Night will be comfortable at 25C.<\/p>\n

Trichy<\/strong> – Very warm and clear skies will prevail with max of 36C and min of 26C. No chance of rains.<\/p>\n

Madurai<\/strong> – Comfortable day with partly cloudy skies and chance of a shower late. Day high of 34C and lows of 24C is forecast.<\/p>\n

Coimbatore<\/strong> – Slightly warm day with a chance of a thundershower late. Mercury will settle at 33\/23C.<\/p>\n
