Bay under watch

The low pressure area which remained around south of Thailand has made the entry into the Andaman sea and its likely to move westward-north westwards. It could intensify further into a depression /cyclonic storm during subsequent day or two as projected by popular Numerical model outputs. The ensuing tracks indicate a landfall around North AP coasts, however this needs to be closely tracked as it makes its westward journey in the bay.

Meanwhile we could see some isolated showers around TN/AP coasts and interiors under the influence of the resident CC over south Arabian sea. This could spin off a potential low over East/Central Arabian sea areas in the next day or so.
